Muted Earth
“earthy tones are already beginning to pop across a wide range of categories in the retail world. “From wooden ornaments, wall art, and dried florals and garlands to soft blankets and soothing palettes of neutral browns, we’re seeing a strong trend of shoppers embracing these colors in all aspects of their homes” - Dayna Isom Johnson - Etsy

Night Skies
“Celestial aspects with the blending of science. Night Skies transcends an enlightened cosmic beauty and other worldly elements that invites contemplation, stirs curiosity, and reminds that we are all starburst connected to the very fabric of creation. These designs may incorporate contrast of shimmering metallic accents with this night sky palette, purples, deep blues and gold metal anchored with a touch of thicket and flat black or star light with lemon. Matte black ceramics, tarnished or golden metal containers. Textiles of jewel shoes, rich velvets to flowing silks offered expansiveness of luminous luxury. Floral compostions with depth and layers of interesting shapes, silhouettes, intricate petals or unique forms such as Delphiniums, Orchids, Anemones and Hydrangeas” - American Floral Trends Magazine

Shades of Blue

“Moving into 2025, however, the Y2K conversation has started to wane and designers are looking to the decade’s earlier years for inspiration. Art Deco is roaring back into style, alongside anything folky (not to mention all the Renaissance princes and Tudor kings Vogue spotted on the runway this fall). What does that mean for 2025 color trends? We’re poised for a resurgence of colors that are, as experts seem to keep putting it—muddied.
“Complex muddier pink, purple, green, and yellow tones that have earthy, grounded bases,” ELLE DECOR A-List designer Ghislaine Viñas says is what she anticipates.
“Shades that evoke the calm patina of natural materials,” A-Lister architect Hannes Peer adds.” - Rachel Silva for Elle Magazine

“Early 20th century artist embraced change that ignited the senses of color expressionism in paintings and interiors. Savor and collect from the past with nostalgic antiquities to create and individual maximalist approach to individuality and expression. In an art comparison, “Women with a Hat” by Henri Matisse, which influenced by various styles, bold colors as he developed his own unique style which later became known as Fauvism. Maxfield Parish created idealized neo classical imagery for commerical use and graviated towards vibrant blues, know as Parrish Blue. Flowers to express this, Hydrangea, Dahlias, Protea, Poppies, Tulips and Rannunclus. Color Palette of Tangerine, Olive, Bright Yellow, Hyacinth, Ice Blue and Pacific Blue. Textural fabrics of intricate brocade, floral with bird motifs along with classic damask inspired velvets.” - American Floral Trends Magazine

“When Mother Nature whispers this trend takes the embodiment of flower’s ephemeral and impermanent properties to the next level with a nod to the ethereal mood. It derives inspiration from a gentle breeze, new beginnings and a sense of weightlessness. A hushed and restrained narrative of air-inspired compositions with soft hints of color, wispy foliage, ribbon accents, and arrangements that take an effortless sense of movement and grace. See these tones silhouettes against background of taupe home decor environments.
Delicate colors of Ivory, Honeycomb, Blush and Heather to create a very soft and subdued overall aesthetic. This trend plays to the delicacy of natures softest tints and tones of Herbal and Blue Sky. Blossom delections of soft sheer colors, in a wide range of varieties, Roses, Lisianthus, Dahlias, Tulips, Peonies and Ranunculus.” - American Floral Trends Magazine

“As urbanization accelerates, there is a growing trend to infuse living spaces with more stability and practicality. Urban Forged is an introspective trend where natural designs and design elements are elevated and refined with meticulous attention to textures, an earthy color palette, greater use of greenery and branches along with an appreciation for organic aesthetics. Vessel selections of farmhouse interpretations which may include a combination of primitive handcrafted, historical influenced periods- Country French and Italian Della Robbia. The simple “porch” (from the old french porche, is a room or gallery located in front of an entrance of a building”, which promote a outdoor connective view to the envirnment and overall well-being. This trend is deeply rooted in colorations of Design Master Black Cherry, Wild Rose, Peachy mixtures with accents or anchors of French Blue and Moss Green. “-American Floral Trends Magazine

Delphinium
“For esteemed retail florists, blue blooms, such as sweet-scented hyacinths, towering Delphinium and exuberant masses of Hydrangea, are recommended to freshen your floral compositions. To appeal to the sensibilities of retail customers, floral designers should deftly balance blue flowers with accents of sunshine yellow and fluttering touches of white, nestled in the verdant embrace of graceful greenery such as Italian Ruscus. In the Matutine trend, wedding and event floral designs will draw inspiration from the stylistic sensibilities of the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, with its devotion to manicured natural beauty.”

Focus on Pink
“opaque pink-to-red analogous color palette to illustrate this new school of thought. To transition from monochromatic to analogous, one will notice restrained reaches outside the pink and red range of colors, to neighboring hues such as near-white powder pink of Ranunculus, orangy coral peonies and rich fuchsia Phalaenopsis orchids.”
“Flowers now have the space to be seen individually, playing important roles in the overall visual landscape, akin to notes in a song. Key ingredients in these compositions go beyond flowers, bringing lots of cleanly hemmed draping, ribbons, candles, streamers and feathery plumes.”

Earthy hues-Autumnal
“Before the luminaries at Pantone announced it, our expert panel of floral trend predictors called it first. In 2024 consumers will be longing for the warmth and comfort of “Peach Fuzz” (Pantone 13-1023), a luscious, soft pinkish-orange hue. In the floral space, we will see this manifest as an appreciation for fleshy tones roses such as ‘RP Moab’, ‘Quicksand’, ‘Maple Syrup’ and other similarly hued roses, moving away from the ghostly gray tones that commanded attention in recent years. To help these focal flowers shine, florists may heavily employ seasonally available garnet-hued blossoms such as tulips, Anemone and sweet peas. In the “Evenfall” trend, foliage will be used sparingly and with meticulous intention. Vessels will be kept out of focus, in harmony with the overall design of a flower composition. Glazed neutral-tone vases with a low profile and open mouths will serve as excellent choices for designers wanting to harness the full romantic allure of this look.”
